Massry Family Children’s Emergency Center

Opened in 2018, The Massry Family Children’s Emergency Center is the only one of its kind in northeastern New York and western New England. Gifts enable us to provide a safe and special environment where children and teenagers are tended to by experts in pediatric emergency medicine. This bright, family- friendly facility is located adjacent to, but totally separate from, the existing Emergency Department.

At the Massry Family Children’s Emergency Center, parents do not have to worry about children feeling frightened by being in a large, busy adult emergency room, yet they have access to all that Albany Med has to offer.
